To offer homeless, chronically truant and otherwise troubled youth who have experience academic/school failure with an individualized course of instruction that not only focuses upon academic corrections and remediation, but engenders self-worth and prepares them educationally and socially for a productive future.

Teacher Salary Increases

In accordance with A.R.S. §15-903(E), as amended by Laws 2018, Ch. 285, §10, a LEA's budget must include the prominent display of the average salary of all teachers employed by the district or charter for the budget and prior years, and the increase in the average salary of all teachers employed by the district or charter for the budget year reported in dollars and percentage.





School Improvement

Arizona Revised Statutes § 15-241 requires the Arizona Department of Education to develop an annual achievement profile for every public school in the state based on an A through F scale. The system measures year to year student academic growth, proficiency on English language arts, math and science, the proficiency and academic growth of English language learners, indicators that an elementary student is ready for success in high school and that high school students are ready to succeed in a career or higher education and high school graduation rates.

Urban Oasis Project

Tucson Preparatory School has created the Urban Oasis Project, an urban garden using several types of organic growing methods that conserve water, demonstrate sustainability, and teach nutrient ecosystem cycles. Students are given an opportunity to work together and realize what they can do for their community with just a small amount of teamwork and collaboration.



Tucson Preparatory School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and is dedicated to educating the youth of Tucson, AZ.
